Learning Outcomes

The micro-credential confirms that the learner possesses knowledge and practical skills in the field of organization and management, with a particular focus on businesses. It includes diagnosing organizational situations, planning actions, designing structures and processes, making managerial decisions, communication, and teamwork, while respecting the principles of ethics and social responsibility.

The learner who is granted the micro-credential understands:

  • basic paradigms, concepts, and academic schools related to organizational and management theory,
  • management functions and managerial roles within an organization,
  • the principles of making managerial decisions, including consideration of risks and ethical aspects,
  • the fundamentals of designing organizational structures and management processes,
  • the importance of communication, motivation, and control in the functioning of an organization.

The learner is able to:

  • analyze and interpret social and economic phenomena and processes occurring within organizations,
  • apply basic management methods and tools in organizational practice,
  • plan actions, set goals, and allocate resources for their achievement,
  • identify organizational problems and propose rational solutions,
  • collaborate within a team and communicate in an organizational environment.

Assessment Method(s)

The micro-credential was granted on the basis of a successful completion of a course, which included an exam/assessment of the theoretical component (lecture) and an evaluation of engagement and tasks completed during classes.

The verification of the learning outcomes covered in particular:

  • the knowledge of key concepts, theories, and functions of management,
  • the ability to analyze case studies related to organizational operations,
  • the accuracy of proposed solutions to management problems,
  • the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical situations,
  • engagement, teamwork, and communication during classes.

Mode of Delivery

The micro-credential confirms the completion of 125 hours of theoretical classes, practical sessions, and independent student work.

Quality Assurance Arrangements Underpinning the Micro-credential

The issuance of the micro-credential is based on a coherent outcomes matrix (knowledge, skills, and social competencies) – content – assessments, their verification, and agreed-upon teaching methods, in accordance with the course syllabus (practical profile) and under the supervision of the course coordinator. The quality of education is assured by transparent criteria and passing thresholds, systematic evaluation of results, and periodic updates of content and methods based on conclusions from assessments and feedback from internal and external stakeholders.
