The micro-credential confirms that the learner possesses in-depth knowledge and practical skills in Lean Management, Six Sigma, process data analysis, and leading improvement projects.
A participant in the "Lean Sigma Academy" postgraduate program is familiar with the principles and tools of Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma, including the DMAIC model, process mapping, waste identification, work standardization, flow analysis, statistical tools, and methods for maintaining the effects of implemented improvements. They understand the importance of a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven work, and a systematic approach to enhancing the quality and efficiency of processes.
In terms of skills, the participant can define business problems, analyze processes, identify sources of waste and variability, and select appropriate improvement tools such as 5S, VSM, TPM, SMED, Kanban, work standardization, and process control tools. They are capable of analyzing process data, interpreting measurement results, leading improvement projects, implementing optimization solutions, and communicating analysis results and recommendations to stakeholders.
In the area of social competencies, the participant is prepared to responsibly initiate and support improvement activities within the organization, critically evaluate applied solutions, develop a culture of continuous improvement, and act in accordance with the principles of integrity, responsibility, ethics, and quality orientation.

The micro-credential was awarded based on the participant's achievement of the intended learning outcomes, as confirmed by the results obtained during the postgraduate program and the final examination.
The assessment particularly focused on the level of mastery in areas such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, process data analysis, and process improvement. It also evaluated the development of practical skills related to conducting improvement projects, participation in class activities, involvement in workshop and simulation exercises, case study analysis, and the ability to apply acquired competencies in organizational, production, service, and project practices.
The micro-credential confirms the completion of approximately 925 hours of work by a participant in the postgraduate "Lean Sigma Academy" program. The workload structure includes a variety of educational activities that together create a cohesive practical-analytical learning process, aimed at developing the skills needed for process improvement, conducting optimization projects, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within an organization.
During theoretical classes, participants acquire organized and in-depth knowledge in areas such as Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, the DMAIC model, process mapping, waste elimination, process data analysis, statistical tools, work standardization, TPM, SMED, Kanban, Just in Time, and maintaining the results of implemented improvements. A significant component of the program is the practical sessions conducted through workshops, exercises, case studies, project work, the "Factory" simulation game, and company visits. These are designed to enhance skills in diagnosing process problems, identifying waste, analyzing data, designing improvements, implementing optimization solutions, and evaluating the effectiveness of the actions taken.
An integral part of the education process is the participant's independent work, which includes preparing for classes, analyzing educational materials, studying literature and practical examples, completing assignments, developing process maps, analyzing data, and preparing improvement proposals related to real organizational issues.
The entire educational process is complemented by other activities, including participation in exercises using digital tools and artificial intelligence, analysis of the outcomes of actions taken during simulations and case studies, and a final exam, which allows for summarizing the acquired knowledge, verifying skills, and assessing readiness to apply the learned solutions in professional practice.
The issuance of a micro-credential is based on the participant achieving the intended learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, skills, and social competencies, as defined for the postgraduate program. These outcomes are linked to the program content, the adopted teaching methods, and the assessment approaches.
The verification of learning outcomes is continuous and multi-stage. It includes evaluating the participant's activity during classes, completing practical tasks, participating in workshops and simulations, case analysis, project work, process data analysis, developing improvement proposals, and a final assessment. This comprehensive evaluation allows for a thorough verification of the degree to which knowledge is mastered, practical skills are developed, and readiness to apply them in production, service, administrative, and project environments is achieved.
The quality of education is ensured by:
This approach fosters a high level of education and adequately prepares participants to apply the acquired competencies in their professional practice, particularly in areas such as Lean Management, Six Sigma, process analysis, quality management, organizational activity optimization, and conducting improvement projects.
