Criteria
What is an Open Badge?
An Open Badge is a digital showcase of the experience of its holder. It makes a person's skills or achievements in a given professional situation more visible. It can be delivered by an organization or a company and shared via web-based platforms such as LinkedIn or Open Badge Passport. Open badges are particularly useful for recognizing and valuing skills acquired outside of traditional training and provide an effective way to motivate and engage students, employees, users or citizens around shared goals, resources and/or values. How was this badge earned (criteria)
This badge is earned on demand with validation of the following two elements of proof:
- the recipient's registration on the participation statements of at least 2 educational experiments offered by a GEM department or program
- reflective feedback from the recipient on his/her contribution to one of these experiments
These elements of proof guarantee a level of involvement and individual questioning capable of identifying an open mind to initiative and experimentation.
