The Finance: Estimating & Planning microcredential is earned by completing a short (approximately 10-hour), non-credit, self-paced, online course. Earning this microcredential requires demonstrated knowledge of the different types of costs organizations experience to include their traits and behaviors, an ability to estimate these costs using applicable cost estimation techniques, and an understanding of how this relates to an organization's profitability. The earner’s knowledge is verified via expert-designed assessments. Earners’ knowledge of the following has been assessed and verified: 1.
