This badge is issued to employees who have completed the certification course of the Renault Group's Agile division. This Scrum Master certification course reinforces: - Knowledge of the Scrum Master competency grid and the autonomy to improve and evaluate oneself among peers - the implementation of concrete Scrum Mastering practices - Facilitation in collective intelligence and team leadership - development of skills through observation in situations and feedback from experienced coaches and peers. This badge certifies that the beneficiary is recognized as a contributor and an actor in the development of Agile excellence at the heart of IT or business teams within the Renault Group. Within the framework of this certification and his professional experiences, the beneficiary has acquired and demonstrated confirmed skills in the role of Agile Scrum Master. He has notably: - Contributed to the implementation of Agile values, principles, and practices within teams in an active Scrum Master role - Completed the Agile training curriculum (Basics, Advance, Scrum Master) - Achieved a level of mastery of the main Scrum Master skills - implemented a set of practices as part of his team coaching and received feedback on his practice from experienced Scrum Masters or agile coaches. - followed a certain number of group sessions on Agile team leadership topics - experienced collective intelligence and collaboration practices and can deploy them within teams - Demonstrated an ability and desire to develop and serve the collaboration of a group - reached the expectations of the Scrum Master competency framework and self-reflected on his/her progress with respect to this framework (strengths and areas for improvement) - developed reflexes of continuous improvement of his practice.

Criteria

The Core Practices Certified Scrum Master is a major player in the dissemination of the culture of excellence and quality in the Renault Group.

He/she is a Scrum Master who masters the fundamentals of this role, both in terms of posture and basic practices.

He can work on:

  • the transformation and continuous improvement of Agile practices,
  • the performance of teams and encourage continuous improvement
  • and inspire collaboration and the Agile spirit within the teams.

He has demonstrated, in a certification path of the Renault Agile Center of Excellence, the following skills and qualities.

Soft skills:

  • Listening, caring, curiosity, open-mindedness, humility,
  • Sense of commitment, cooperation, team leadership, teamwork
  • Concerned with the continuous improvement of his/her practice
  • Servant-leader posture

Know-how:

  • Self-assessment according to the Scrum Master competency grid
  • Give meaning and purpose to the chosen Agile frameworks, to the roles and to the Agile practices in his/her teams
  • Know the expectations of Agile methods and lead the team to achieve them. Foster the implementation of the Agile values and principles, and the execution of the framework established within the team.
  • Design and lead retrospectives. Drive continuous improvement in the team
  • Explain and facilitate the Scrum events in the context of his/her team
  • Set up and lead a physical or virtual visual management
  • Plan and organize the team's activity via a backlog
  • Help the team to understand what Agile product development is.
  • Give meaning and visibility to the team. Have a shared understanding of the upcoming iterations.
  • Help the team to set goals and give them the means to achieve them
  • Develop team spirit and lead the group dynamic.

Knowledge:

  • Foundations of Agile: The mindset, its vocabulary, the purpose of an Agile Transition and its potential benefits.
  • The Scrum framework and some of the key practices of an “Agile at scale” framework
  • Models of dynamics, team development.
  • Knowledge of the Scrum Master competency grid
  • The principles of Agile Product Development and the User / Customer Value orientation

Participants are awarded this badge when they meet the following criteria:

  • Completed the Agile training curriculum (Basics, Advance, Scrum Master)
  • Demonstrated active participation in the Scrum Master certification path
  • Have achieved a level of practice
  • Have implemented a set of practices as part of their team coaching and have received feedback on their practice from experienced Scrum Masters or Agile coaches.
  • Have followed a certain number of group sessions and experienced collective and collaborative practices to be deployed in their context.
  • Have demonstrated an ability and desire to develop and be at the service of collaboration and the collective.
  • Be familiar with the competency framework and have honestly self-assessed themselves with respect to this framework (their strengths and areas for improvement).
  • Have developed reflexes of continuous improvement of one's practice

This certification is delivered by a jury of experienced Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches based on observations and exchanges during group time and mentoring time, as well as self-assessment among peers.
