Criteria

Objectives / Recognized Skills:

  • Formulate a challenge based on a complex problem

  • Conduct interviews to understand user needs

  • Identify the critical needs of a persona

  • Generate ideas using ideation techniques

  • Prototype a tangible solution

  • Test and collect user feedback

  • Iterate to improve the value proposition

Criteria for Awarding the Badge:

To earn this badge, the recipient must:

  • Complete a 15-hour course on Design Thinking

  • Apply the method to a real-world case

  • Obtain a minimum score of 12/20 for the overall week, and at least 15/20 on a quiz taken two weeks after the course

Required Evidence:

  • A value proposition canvas

  • A summary of the process followed

  • A pitch of the proposed solution
