Learning Objectives/Outcomes

• Define what sustainable infrastructure is and what its benefits are for the fulfillment of global and national commitments in terms of social, environmental, economic, and institutional sustainability
• Identify how each of the dimensions of sustainable infrastructure operates and how the dimensions interact during the planning, design, implementation, and decommissioning of a project
• Identify good practices in the application of sustainability dimensions in infrastructure projects, identifying their impact on employment, gender equity, nature-based solutions, and public private partnerships
• Recognize the universe of available climate funds and their role in scaling up sustainable infrastructure financing and supporting efforts during the transition towards resilient, low carbon economies
