This badge recognizes active participation in the study trip Expedition Climate Transition on November 12 and 13, 2025. The expedition took participants to various initiatives in De Kwakel, Amsterdam, Bussum, and Almere, providing insights into public-private partnerships (PPP), technological innovation, and lifelong learning (LLL) within the context of sustainability transitions. The badge holder participated in company and project visits, including LGEM, Greenchain NH, the Ecopavilion, Stichting Kies Biobased, De Groene Afslag, PRICE (the Practice and Innovation Centre for the Circular Economy), and Aeres University of Applied Sciences. Through participation, the badge holder gained knowledge about the circular economy, material innovation, and future-proof food systems, as well as behavioral change and reskilling efforts that contribute to these transitions.

Katapult is een netwerk van meer dan 600 samenwerkingsverbanden tussen onderwijs en bedrijfsleven en groeit continu. Doelstelling is om de samenwerking tussen onderwijs, bedrijfsleven en maatschappij te verbeteren. Dit gebeurt bijvoorbeeld door professionals uit het bedrijfsleven die lessen verzorgen. Of door studenten die tijdens hun opleiding onderzoek doen voor een mkb-bedrijf. Er participeren inmiddels 134.000 studenten, 21.000 bedrijven en 19.000 docenten in deze samenwerkingsverbanden. De projectorganisatie van Katapult is non-profit en ondergebracht bij Stichting Platform Talent voor Technologie. Katapult wordt ondersteund door de overheid.

PTvT is het landelijke centrum van kennis, expertise en netwerken op gebied van technologisch onderwijs en de technologische arbeidsmarkt. We verbinden beleid, praktijk en wetenschap rondom maatschappelijke vraagstukken met onderwijs, bedrijfsleven en (regionale) overheid en komen gezamenlijk tot een krachtige en praktische aanpak. Dit doen we zowel regionaal, nationaal als internationaal en bij voorkeur met meerjarige programma’s.

Criteria

The badge is awarded to participants who met the following criteria:

Full attendance during the Expedition Climate Transition 2025 (November 12–13), organized by PTvT and the Katapult network.
Active participation in at least three of the following activities:
- Company visit to LGEM (algae cultivation);
- Company visit to the Ecopavilion;
- I Am Material exhibition;
- Workshop on behavioral change at Aeres University of Applied Sciences.
Gained first-hand experience of circular and system innovations through real-world examples within public-private partnerships.
Developed insight into the role and importance of collaboration, technology, and lifelong learning in system transitions.
Acquired knowledge about various biobased materials and their benefits.
Participated in reflection sessions on the insights gained and how they can be applied to accelerate the transition toward a circular economy.
Built (or expanded) a relevant professional network in the field of the circular economy.
