In the Future management module, the focus is on developing management competence through practical student activities. After completing the module, students can demonstrate that they are capable of both managing issues and leading people. Students will be familiar with influencing methods and decision-making procedures in the activities of student organisations. They will know how to lead projects and take people leadership and management, as well as financial aspects, into consideration in their project management approach.

Olemme kuudella kampuksella Uudellamaalla toimiva ammattikorkeakoulu. Yhteisöömme kuuluu noin 7 800 opiskelijaa, 500 henkilökunnan jäsentä sekä yli 24 000 alumnia.

Criteria

The goal is to develop competence in three areas:

Self-management

Student is able to - set goals for their activities - manage their use of time - assess the strengths and areas for development in their own activities and competence

Strategic management

Student is able to - describe the difference between strategic and operational activities - carry out strategic planning, including setting goals and measuring performance - anticipate changing conditions and react to them

People leadership

Student is able to - be responsible leaders - lead their team successfully and handle challenging interactions - inspire, encourage and support their team
