Assessment of societal impacts

The Assessment of societal impacts badge is awarded to a person who has demonstrated competence in assessing the social impact of sustainable tourism.

RECIPIENT

• Is able to assess the social, cultural and economic impact of tourism
• Identifies sustainability indicators and critically evaluates tourism monitoring and evaluation methods
• Understands the role of tourism in climate change mitigation and adaptation and preserving biodiversity

DEMONSTRATION OF COMPETENCE

This competence has been demonstrated through an online course on Sustainable Tourism.

The badge is part of the national Sustainable Tourism badge system. The badge is a digital proof of demonstrated competence according to the Open Badge standard.
