Learning Outcomes

The micro-credential confirms knowledge and practical skills in using modern information technologies in finance and accounting, with a particular focus on acquiring, processing, and analyzing data, as well as presenting and communicating it in an economic-financial context.

The learner who earned this micro-credential:

  • is familiar with key techniques and IT tools used in finance and accounting,
  • understands the principles of acquiring, collecting, processing, and sharing economic-financial information,
  • has knowledge of the potential applications of spreadsheets in financial data analysis and visualization,
  • knows the basics of team organization and communication principles using information technologies,
  • can acquire, collect, and properly transform economic-financial data using IT tools,
  • is capable of using spreadsheets and data visualization tools to analyze and solve problems in economics and finance,
  • possesses the ability to create and edit professional written reports while adhering to editorial standards,
  • can work collaboratively on economic-financial tasks, utilizing information technologies for communication and information sharing.

Assessment Method(s)

The micro-credential was granted on the basis of a positive result of the final test and the evaluation of individual assignments, which confirmed the knowledge of IT tools used in finance and accounting, as well as the ability to practically apply them in data analysis, visualization, and the preparation of written reports.

Mode of Delivery

The micro-credential certifies the completion of 75 hours of practical classes and independent student work.

Quality Assurance Arrangements Underpinning the Micro-credential

The issuance of the micro-credential is based on a coherent learning outcomes matrix in the areas of knowledge, skills, and social competencies, linked to the program content and the assessment methods and criteria specified in the course syllabus. The verification of learning outcomes is a two-stage process, consisting of a final test and the evaluation of partial tasks completed during practical classes. The educational process is conducted using agreed teaching methods, such as multimedia presentations, laboratory classes, and group work, in line with the practical profile of education and under the supervision of the course coordinator. The quality of education is ensured by clearly defined criteria and passing thresholds, regular progress assessments, as well as regular updating of content and teaching methods based on evaluation results and feedback.
