Those who have passed The Driving Licence for Research can

Draw up a research plan and apply for permission for research or a project
Use research integrity principles and apply for an ethical review if necessary
Evaluate the project according to sustainable development goals
Inform research participants and ask for consent to participate in the research and to process personal data
Process personal data and other data securely in accordance with the law
Prepare a data management plan across the project's lifespan
Prepare metadata in Reportronic and transfer it to the national research database
License data and publish it openly in an open data repository
Understand copyrights related to publication
Promote open publishing within projects.
