Critères

Safeguarding Essentials est un cours en ligne autogéré destiné aux secteurs de l'humanitaire et du développement. Il présente la protection : ce qu'elle est, qui nous protégeons et de qui nous les protégeons. Il s'agit d'un cours de base et/ou de remise à niveau pour tous ceux qui travaillent avec des personnes vulnérables. Il faut compter entre une heure et une heure et demie pour l'étudier.

Il est expérientiel, suscite la réflexion et est riche en interactivité, avec des activités formatives tout au long desquelles les apprenants archivent dans leur journal d'apprentissage pour s'y référer ultérieurement. Un test sommatif à la fin du cours requiert une note de passage de 80%.

Les apprenants qui terminent le cours comprendront l'importance de la sauvegarde, connaîtront les normes de conduite non négociables, reconnaîtront les problèmes de sauvegarde et sauront comment les signaler.
