This badge certifies that the participant has successfully completed a three-day, challenge-based innovation Hackathon as part of Shaping the City of the Future at Kristianstad University, 23–25 September 2026. Working in diverse teams, the learner has developed and tested creative and innovative solutions to real challenges facing city center life, with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, experiences, services, and vibrant urban spaces. Through hands-on work, the learner has gained practical experience in identifying problems, needs, and opportunities; developing solutions using the NABC framework; collaborating across different perspectives; and testing and iterating ideas based on real-world feedback. The badge demonstrates the learner's ability to move from problem identification to solution development and testing, while considering equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout the innovation process. It also demonstrates the ability to critically reflect on feedback, refine solutions and explore how ideas can contribute to meaningful change in real-world contexts.
