Learning Objectives

  1. Identify the basic agility concepts that promote the development of the agile mindset
  2. Differentiate the roles that make up an agile team and their responsibilities during project execution
  3. Develop tools for hybrid project management and adapt them to the team's needs
  4. Characterize the ceremonies the team will use for project management
  5. Develop a PM4R Agile Implementation Plan for three months that starts the first day after the workshop concludes

Learning Experience and Activities

  • Personalized Coaching: Participants will receive comprehensive coaching covering both theoretical and practical aspects of the PM4R Agile methodology. This coaching is provided by a Certified PM4R Coach, who tailors to the specific needs of each project.
  • Practical and Group Activities: Attendees will engage in various hands-on activities and group exercises designed to effectively apply the 5 steps of the PM4R Agile methodology in development and social impact projects. These activities will be both in-person and interactive to foster collaborative and practical learning.
  • Feedback Sessions: There will be planned feedback sessions in which the Certified PM4R Coach will offer assistance, guidance, and direction to each team. These sessions are designed to address questions, overcome challenges, and ensure each team aligns with the workshop's objectives.
  • In-person group and hands-on activities, where the 5 steps of the PM4R Agile methodology will be implemented in their development and/or social impact projects.
  • Feedback activities, where the Certified PM4R Coach will provide assistance during the workshop.

Content/Topics

The workshop content emphasizes the application of the five (5) steps of PM4R Agile which consist of:

  • Analysis of existing planning elements
  • Selection of priority jobs
  • Development of the PM4R Agile Plan
  • (Self) assignment of responsibilities
  • Implementation of the PM4R Agile Plan

Assessment description

The credential is granted to those team members and/or employees who participate in the in-person workshop and demonstrate a personal commitment to achieving the team's objectives and successfully applying the tools of the PM4R Agile methodology to their projects.

Estimated effort

Participants who receive this credential have completed a total of 16 hours of academic effort.
