The Badge earner has attended and completed the VMware VCP-DCV Course. The Course focuses on the installation, configuration, and management of VMware vSphere 8, which includes VMware ESXi™ 8 and VMware vCenter® 8. During the course, participants will acquire the necessary skills to administer a vSphere infrastructure for organizations of any size, making the course the basis for most VMware technologies in the software-defined data center. The course will cover various technologies, including virtualization, the configuration and management of vSphere networks, vSphere storage, and the implementation and management of virtual machines. Participants will also learn to configure and manage vSphere clusters and manage the vSphere lifecycle. The course also covers topics such as vSphere's interaction with CPUs, memory, networks, storage, and GPUs, virtual machine migrations, and the use of vSphere DRS and vSphere HA to manage clusters and resources. Participants will have the opportunity to work with tools such as VMware vSphere® Lifecycle Manager™ and vCenter Update Planner to update and manage system components. Finally, the course contributes to the preparation for the VMware Certified Professional vSphere Data Center Virtualization VCP-DCV 2025 exam, allowing participants to acquire the necessary skills to obtain this prestigious certification in the field of data center virtualization.
