Validation of the "Innovation and Creativity" Teaching Unit at INSA HdF

The badge recognizes that the recipient has validated the "Innovation and Creativity" Teaching Unit. This unit is delivered by INSA Hauts-de-France, a component institution of the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France, in the form of a challenge. This challenge, called the Créathon, is an original initiative dedicated to raising innovation awareness among third-year students at INSA Hauts-de-France. Its aim is to mobilize a wide range of skills, among which creativity and student engagement are particularly valued. The initiative consists of an immersive week built around a main theme proposed by one or more external organizations, during which students are grouped into several teams. Invited to follow a Design Thinking approach, students are thus required to propose and present to a jury an innovative concept in which the user plays a central role, in response to an issue related to the Créathon’s theme. The originality of the Créathon also lies in the formation of teams, which are made up of students from different specialties within the school, as well as in the support provided to these teams by management students from the IAE, thereby particularly fostering the development of soft skills.
