This badge is awarded to an entrepreneur who has participated in the development programme organiz Vastuullinen yritystoiminta Pohjois-Karjalassa organized by Pohjois-Karjalan Yrittäjät. The training modules have focused especially on the theme of social responsibility. The Promoter of Social Responsibility badge demonstrates the recipient’s competence and commitment to social responsibility in business and to developing responsible business practices.

Through the programme, the entrepreneur has:

-Understood the significance of social responsibility as part of daily business and company strategy.

-Evaluated their own company’s current state from a social responsibility perspective.

-Identified key areas of influence, including employee wellbeing, equality, diversity, community impact and ethical business practices.

-Created concrete steps to develop their company’s social responsibility.

-Explored examples of companies that actively contribute to society.

Significance of the Badge:

This badge is a recognition of the entrepreneur’s active role in promoting the social dimension of corporate responsibility. The recipient has demonstrated the ability to assess and develop their business in a way that supports both employees and the surrounding community.
