Organisations that have earned this badge have taken part in a consultation with Cornwall Council, to broaden their understanding on digital badges (micro credentials). Organisations gained insight into digital badges as a common skills currency.

Criteria

Earning Criteria:

  • Organisation has gained knowledge through consultation with Cornwall Council about the use of digital badges to reward skills and experiences gained outside of formal education.
  • Organisation has gained further insight, through consultation into how Cornwall Council are collaborating with employers and providers, ensuring digital badges share the same language as local employers. Organisation now understand the origin and role of skills tags in digital badges.
  • Organisation has been made aware, through consultation and demonstration, the role of digital badge issuing platforms and badging wallets or backpacks and the benefits they offer in terms of storing and sharing badges. The organisation has a better understanding of how badges are managed.
