Criteria

Earning Criteria:

  • Earner has learnt about the theory behind the University of Derby’s 5 Pathways to Nature Connection, reflected on why it is so important for them and for nature, and actively practised it in their day-to-day life
  • Earner has reflected on what they have learnt and has applied it by showing passion for, and interest in, nature recovery through their values and behaviour
  • Earner has used their learning about the 5 Pathways to Nature Connection and has applied it to encourage other people to explore nature and find happiness and wonder in it
  • Earner has shown initiative by identifying and reaching out to a community/communities who would enjoy and benefit from Nature Connection activities
  • Earner has shown dedication and commitment to equal access to nature by actively working with a diverse audience of people
  • Earner has shown compassion for the natural world and taken action for it by creating spaces where people can connect with nature and develop nature positive behaviours
  • Earner has demonstrated a real commitment to sustainability by reflecting on what positive impact their actions have had and how they could continue to support local biodiversity and Nature Connection in their community.
