This badge shows that you have an understanding of and respect for how ideas and meaning are creatively expressed and communicated in different cultures and through a range of arts and other cultural forms. This is a prerequisite badge for the Digital competence meta badge and for the Multilingual competence meta badge

REQUIRED EVIDENCE

Task " Myself and my origins"

Make a presentation (multimedia document or video) as if you were going to introduce yourself to a stranger from a foreign country about which you know little and are curious about.

Find information out about the country of origin of the person you have imagined (remember to check if the information you are using are realistic, use reputable sources). In your presentation tell also about the aspects that intrigued you most about the new country, the aspects that you found most interesting or the aspects that you find incomprehensible, if you were to visit it, what would you do?

Try to make your audience understand the characteristics of the place you come from, remember to include the distinctive elements of your country of origin and describe them from your point of view (because they are significant for you). Explain what aspects of you and your culture make you feel like a European citizen, as well as the distinctive and particular elements of your culture.

The presentation must be engaging for the viewer (include graphics, images, if you have chosen to make a video you could speak and show real places or edit links, add boxes with additional information, to sing a typical song… be creative).
