The competence badge demonstrates that you are able to design an online course according to the Quality Criteria for Online Implementations at Haaga-Helia. The Digipeda Designer competence badge is part of the Digipeda Expert competence badge, which consists of three basic competence badges (Digipeda Designer, Digipeda Scaffolder and Digipeda Assessor).

Clearness of the objectives and structure

  • The structure of the course and the different stages of progress are presented clearly.
  • The learning platform has a link to the published course description and implementation plan for Peppi's information

Pedagogical solutions

  • The pedagogical solutions support the achievement of learning objectives.
  • The pedagogical solutions are suitable for use in an online environment.
  • The pedagogical solutions are understandable for students.

Materials that support learning objectives

  • The students receive guidance for selecting and utilizing study materials that support their learning objectives and assignments.
  • The materials are ensured to be up to date and reliable.
  • The online implementation utilizes materials to which the institution has an access right.
  • References and copyright information have been marked appropriately in the materials.

• Make a screenshot video recording of the learning platform you are using (Moodle, Teams). Describe and justify in the video, in the order of the quality criteria, how you have the requirements of the competence badge criteria are fulfilled in your course. In your application, please state the name and code of the course on the learning platform.

• Consider student privacy.

• Share links with read access.

• Make sure that the content of all the criteria for the competence badge appears in your descriptions.
