This badge is for the Staff Care and Wellbeing module, part of the Cross-Cutting Subjects pathway. This badge demonstrates the learner has essential awareness around staff care and wellbeing, in line with the FIELD Programme's guidance. The Staff Care and Wellbeing module takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

Criteria

The earner of this badge can successfully demonstrate that they:

  • Prioritise mental health, stress reduction and wellbeing for themselves and their team
  • Recognise the sources and signs of stress within themselves and their team
  • Can prevent staff and self from becoming ill due to stress
  • Can incorporate wellbeing activities into daily activities and programme planning
  • Promote wellbeing and duty of care culture
  • Can raise awareness about the support available to staff

This badge is earned by completing the necessary activities, knowledge check tasks and feedback requests within FIELD Staff Care and Wellbeing.

FIELD has been developed by Save the Children, with support of World Vision International and is available for free on Kaya, the global online learning platform.

FIELD’s focus is to develop the pool of local, national, and international staff who can prepare for and take charge of in-country operational programmes in humanitarian responses.
