Evaluation Competence EQF 4

Opintokeskus Sivis on valtakunnallinen aikuisoppilaitos, joka toteuttaa, tutkii, kehittää, ohjaa ja tukee järjestöllistä koulutusta. Sivis järjestää vuosittain jäsenyhteisöjensä kanssa opintojaksoja noin 80 000 tuntia. Vertaisopintoryhmissä opiskellaan 47 000 tuntia ja ammatillisessa lisäkoulutuksessa 37 000 tuntia. Osallistujia on yhteensä noin 140 000.

Siviksen toimintaa rahoittaa, arvioi ja valvoo Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö. Toimintaa ylläpitää Opintotoiminnan Keskusliitto ry, ja sitä valvovat Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö sekä Opetushallitus. Toiminnasta säädetään vapaata sivistystyötä koskevassa laissa.

The earner of this badge can:

  • Explain the importance of involving the participants in the continuous evaluation of an adult education course or event.

  • Identify what should be evaluated in an adult education course or event and in order for the evaluation to be continuous, fair, motivating and reliable.

  • Independently plan and carry out an evaluation of an adult education course or event by using appropriate tools and methods.

  • Independently teach and supervise others in the use of evaluation tools and methods in adult education courses and events.

  • Make necessary adjustments to an ongoing adult education course or event based on continuous evaluation.

  • Assess the results of the evaluation of adult education course or event and can explain and communicate the conclusions, the reasoning that lead to them and can take the necessary measures to develop and improve the quality of the adult education course or event and the evaluation practices.

Describe a situation where you have made adjustments to some elements during the adult education course or event based on the evaluation in order to ensure that most of the participants reach the expected learning outcomes.
Describe the outcomes of one particular evaluation of an adult education course or event and the measures taken based on the results of the evaluation in order to improve the adult education course or event and the evaluation practices.
