ATU Student Ambassador (Silver)

Specifics of achievement of this badge: to earn the badge, there are four elements to be completed: 1. Attend workshop/briefing session 2. Capture evidence of your contribution as student ambassador 3. Capture personal learning from your experience as a student ambassador 4. Identify opportunities to improve the experience of ATU student ambassadorship Explanation of assessment: 1. Evidence of attending workshop/briefing session 2. Evidence of activities and your role 3. Reflection on what you have learned as a student ambassador (new knowledge, skills development etc.) 4. Reflection on how ATU can enhance the experience and role of student ambassadors Activities and Evidence: How did the recipient demonstrate that the criteria were met? Please see examples of the types of evidence which can be used to demonstrate that the criteria were met: 1. Attending workshop/briefing session ( e.g. certificate of attendance, email confirming your participation from workshop/briefing session facilitator) 2. Evidence of student ambassador role may include activities such as e.g. outline of duties, preparation involved, nature of the experience, number of hours. You may capture this evidence in a variety of ways e.g. written journal report, blog, video, power point, e-portfolio of evidence including pictures of the event. 3. Reflection of learning may include consideration of the knowledge or skills you have acquired or developed such as communication, team work, presentation, event organisation, digital communication, learning about new programme areas, networking etc. Give examples and capture the evidence in the way you consider best captures your experience e.g. written report, blog, video, power point, e-portfolio of evidence including pictures of the event. 4. Your feedback on suggestions for improving the experience of ATU student ambassadors will be reviewed by our digital badge team and help us refine and improve the experience. Please provide suggestions using e.g. written report, blog, video, power point, e-portfolio of evidence including pictures of the event. Your evidence will be reviewed by the ATU student digital badge team which includes ATU staff and ATU SU sabbatical officers and ATU student peers.
