After successfully the course, learners will be able to:\n\n- Articulate the case for measuring food loss\n- Interpret the FOLOU food loss definition\n- Choose what aspects of production need to be measured\n- Implement appropriate food loss measurement strategies\n- Use the FOLOU reporting system and registry \n\n**Activities**\n\n- Why food loss matters\n- Define food loss\n- What needs measuring\n- How, when and where to measure food loss\n- Assessing and reporting food loss\n- Review and reflect\n\n**Recipients of the badge**\n\nThe course is designed for anyone with an interest in measuring food loss. It’s especially relevant to the primary production sector, public administrators, researchers and non-governmental organisations.
