Commissioning Academy

Developed by the Cabinet Office and now delivered by the Public Service Transformation Academy, the Commissioning Academy is a premier learning and development programme for commissioners. Commissioning Academies typically gather commissioners from local government, health, police, central government, and other public service organisations. Teaching comes through expert webinars and lectures, as well as from peer learning. The programme is threaded through with action learning and participants are required to produce hundred day plans to drive forward innovation in their organisation and to put their learning into practice.
