The holder of this badge has successfully completed a practical learning module focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) agents and their use in society, organizations, and business environments. Through guided learning and hands-on activities, the learner has explored how AI-based solutions can support processes, improve productivity, and create value for organizations. During the module, the learner gained experience in workflow-based agent development, built and tested a simple agent, and explored how such solutions can be connected to external tools, services, and information sources to perform structured tasks. The learner developed an understanding of how agents differ from simple conversational systems through their ability to follow workflows, use decision logic, integrate with other systems, and carry out multi-step activities. The badge holder demonstrated competence by applying agent-based solutions to real-world challenges, evaluating potential use cases, and reflecting on the opportunities, limitations, and ethical implications of AI-supported solutions. The learner can identify situations where AI can improve efficiency, support decision-making, enhance customer experiences, and contribute to organizational development. Achievement of this badge was verified through successful completion of all required learning activities and approved by the module teachers at the University of Vaasa. The total workload is approximately 80 hours, equivalent to 3 ECTS credits.
