Early Warning Early Action

This course is part of the Community Driven Resilience (CDR) learning pathway and aims to improve self-reliance and sustainability for local organizations on the frontlines of providing humanitarian assistance. The course introduces the rationale and technical contents used in Community Based EWEA, aims to support communities in establishing and facilitating the activities of Early Warning Committees, and finally utilizes key tools and processes to assist communities in Community Based EWEA planning and design (e.g. Early Warning Indicators, EW Actions, Communication Strategy, Scenario building). This e-Learning course is intended for staff working in the local, national, and international humanitarian and development space.
