Earning this certificate means that a participant has developed **community-engaged competences**, as well as contributed to creating a **more sustainable and inclusive society**.\n\nParticipants can count on the full support of teachers, university staff and/or professional tutors from external organisations throughout their commitment.\n\n### **> Requirements**\n\nMinimum expected workload: 50 hours.\n\n- **Online Civic Engagement Activities Intro Training**.\n- **Civic Engagement Activity**: either a Help Desk or a Community Volunteering, in coordination with local stakeholders.\n- Completing the **Reflection Report**: an overview of the initial expectations, tasks and progress made by participants, on the [Virtual Campus](https://virtualcampus.yufe.eu/).\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n### **> Competency Framework**\nWhile taking part in Civic and Community Engagement activities, participants develop knowledge, skills and attitudes.
