Programming 1: Introduction to Programming

Tampere University: Programming 1: Introduction, 5 ECTS. The course covers the concepts of program and algorithm. It also focuses on designing and testing small programs and dividing program into smaller entities, functions. The course covers the basics of passing parameters and return values, control structures, variables, scope and data types as well as the basic operations of file handling. Upon successful completion of the course, the student is able to implement a small program independently.
