The Rebus Open Publishing Projects Certificate (OPC) is a year-long professional development course that equips faculty, librarians, administrators, and managers with the tools they need to create high-quality, openly licensed publications. The program guides cross-institutional teams through the full open publishing process of a primary course material – from scoping and planning through writing, editing, production, and release. This extended, cohort-based program combines expert-led sessions, asynchronous project work, and ongoing 1:1 expert facilitator support across one year. The OPC guides participants through three structured phases, giving teams a clear and rigorous path to publication.
