Student Engagement
The Student Engagement badge equips staff in Irish higher education with the tools to implement the principles of student engagement in their work.
The badge is created to award participants for their exploration and contribution to enhancing student engagement throughout the student life cycle. The badge is designed for staff engaged in higher education, including academic, management, administrative, support and ancillary roles.
The learner should be able to:
- Explore the definitions and principles of Student Engagement and the related activities within your institution
- Select a principle to implement in your work and create a one page plan
- Demonstrate the impact of your plan with evidence
- Reflect on the implementation and impact
