Design Thinking

This badge is awarded on satisfactory completion of the All Aboard introductory lesson on Design Thinking. Design thinking is a creative approach that we can use to solve challenges and problems. It is: human-centred, collaborative, optimistic, and experimental. It has many potential applications in teaching and learning.

The award of this badge indicates successful completion of the 'All Aboard' lesson, and the badge holder should be able to:

Understand what is meant by 'Design Thinking,' recognising the key stages in the process;
Appreciate the value of sketching/drafting, prototyping, and working in a creative team context;
Recognise opportunities to take a Design Thinking approach in educational settings and contexts.
