Personal Effectiveness

Personal Effectiveness is the enveloping workplace skill set which represents the translation of core skills into goal-achieving attitudes and behaviour. This badge is about your readiness to approach the challenge of work and life with determination, optimism and emotional intelligence.

To earn this badge you need to demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Self-awareness and emotional intelligence, i.e. knowledge and acceptance of your own strengths and weaknesses
  • Resilience including ability to take positives from failures experienced and to remain calm even when criticised.
  • Ability to actively participate, be enthusiastic and invigorate others.

To demonstrate these abilities you must complete the following THREE tasks:

  1. Take a resilience test
  2. Reflect on your core skills
  3. Create a 60 sec. elevator pitch
