This badge is awarded to Teacher Track participants that demonstrates skills and knowledge of building youth development skills.
- Understands the assets approach to youth development vs. the deficit model (build on strengths rather than focus on weaknesses)
- Knows about the 40 Assets
- Participates in at least one activity that promotes strengths
- Demonstrates ability to conduct strength-based activities with youth
