Environmental and Social Management - Fundamentals (EN)

The Inter-American Development Bank promotes sustainable development for Latin America and the Caribbean. Therefore, it provides guidelines that help to appropriately manage environmental and social risks that may arise from project implementation in the region. The holder of this digital badge has proven his or her ability to acknowledge the value and importance of managing socioenvironmental risks in development projects, as well as the consequences of not doing so. These skills were acquired in the “A Look at Environmental and Social Risk Management in Projects Financed by the IDB” Nano MOOC within the framework of the Project Learning Academy, which is offered by the Inter-American Institute for Economic and Social Development (INDES) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
