The License to sell badge is awarded for the successful completion of the License to sell program developed by the Metso Academy. The License to sell program has been designed to improve foundational sales skills for those in Sales roles within Metso. The program is built to both amplify and strengthen key sales capabilities building trust through understanding customer’s needs in a holistic manner and also improve general business acumen, strengthen strategic understanding as well as customer focus. Also, to articulate value through tactical and strategic account management, demonstrate value by various sales activities and value selling approaches and to digitally empower by mastering and utilizing digital practices, processes and tools. Target audience is Site Account Managers and Technical Sales Support.

Criteria

Successfully completing the program means that the candidate has:

  • Completed a self-assessment survey to determine strengths and improvement areas.
  • Completed a total of 80-100 learning hours.
  • Completed 20 courses within 6 months period (including eLearning, virtual and traditional classroom instructor-led sessions and group assignments).
  • Completed group assignments with live real-time feedback.
