Criteria

This participation-based badge is awarded to participants who have completed the interactive online training, Project Identification & Design (Humanitarian PCM). Upon completion of the training, participants are able to:

  • Describe how to identify and design a project based on evidence of need, understanding of gaps in provision and organisational strengths
  • Explain the key features and purpose of problem trees, SWOT analysis and gap analysis
  • List cross-cutting issues to consider in project design
  • Describe the purpose and key features of a logical framework
  • Formulate outcomes, outputs and activities for a project
  • Explain what assumptions, indicators and means of verification are,
  • Specify ways to improve funding proposals

This badge is issued to learners for participating in an interactive online training followed by a brief reflection. Participants must satisfactorily answer two questions on what they learnt from the training and how they are applying their learning. There is no formal assessment.
