- Attended all sessions of the training series
- Completed all homework assigned for each session
Upon completion of the course, participants are able to:
- Understand the mathematics that go into machine learning methods
- Build a modern classification network and explain its features
- Submit and run jobs on ThetaGPU (Argonne 3.9 petaflops supercomputer)
- Scale AI training from local computer to running on Theta and ThetaGPU
- Discuss the need for CPU/GPU concurrency when scaling AI training, and quantify the impact of training models in parallel
