The Union of Students in Ireland is the recognised national student representative organisation in Ireland.
It represents the interests of students in all types of higher and further education courses, and along with NUS-USI which operates in Northern Ireland, represents over 380,000 students.
Criteria
The Student Achievement Awards Ireland is the national student movement's annual recognition scheme for students and student representatives who have dedicated themselves to improving the lives and circumstances of students. A shortlisted person is deemed by the independent judges to have presented a compelling case for the recognition of their work.
