ESCA Essentials in NEXUS Settings, Level 1

The Environmental Sustainability and Climate Action (ESCA) Essentials in NEXUS Settings Learning Programme equips all WV staff especially the ESCA focal points, sectoral staff and response leadership in humanitarian settings with essential knowledge, core concepts, and programming principles related to ESCA in NEXUS settings. This course is built on key principles from the ESCA Leadership Collaborative and emphasizes ESCA integration and environmental safeguarding within humanitarian response settings. The goal of this module is to provide a foundational understanding of WV’s approach to upholding the Environmental Stewardship Partnership Management Policy in humanitarian settings, guided by the Humanitarian Response Operational Framework for ESCA. It is designed to be a resource for Regional and National Disaster Management Trainings, HEA & ESCA focal points and Green Team members.
