• Earner has shown commitment to their career development by attending a 3-4 day intensive course to understand and experience how you can use play and a design mindset to make learning more engaging.
• Earner has learned through discovery by participating in both group and individual activities which addressed designing, creating, and running a teaching/facilitating session. Additional learning experiences included playing, facilitating, and repurposing games, and icebreaker activities. Earner has demonstrated innovative thinking through the creation of new (playful) content.
• Earner has demonstrated strong social skills by participating in sessions done with small groups (4-6) and the whole cohort (10-20). They have shown confidence by showcasing their skills in the teaching/facilitating session for an invited audience consisting of educators, students, Innoplay faculty and Alumni (10-30).
• Earner has applied their learning to design and facilitate a teaching session using a playful and design mindset. For this project, they applied newly learned concepts around playful teaching and design thinking (based on Stanford d.school). They have shown skills in curiosity, creativity, empathy, problem-solving, communication and storytelling – which are essential qualities for making learning engaging.
