After completing the Bootcamp part of STAND's Ideas Collective programme, participants will be able to:
Understand the core principles of global citizenship and the importance of Global Citizenship Education in the current global climate.
Understand local and global challenges, exploring project ideas in the context of systems and finding root causes of the problems they are attempting to address.
Explore their project ideas and solutions through a critical thinking lens.
Be introduced to key social innovation approaches influenced by design thinking sprint methodologies.
Understand the importance of understanding the systemic and root causes of their issues through desk research and empathy interviews.
Acquire the tools to generate ideas in a short-time frame, understand the potential societal impacts of their ideas, and acquire the tools and resources to create and test prototypes learning from failure as well as success.
Learn the tools and space to reflect on themselves as social innovators who have a societal impact.
Acquire leadership and team-building skills, and pitching and presenting skills.
