The person has gained understanding of the paper machine's short circulation process and how high-level Quality Control Systems (QCS) integrate with low-level Distributed Control Systems (DCS). They have learned to identify key parameters for Machine Direction (MD) and Cross Direction (CD) controls and become proficient in using QCS operator and maintenance interfaces. Additionally, person has become familiar with process models and their applications, got the basic ideas behind the MD and CD controls, and learned the importance of mapping and response in CD control.
Upon completing this program, the person has a solid foundation in paper machine control, enabling them to enhance operational efficiency.
Certification program has included set of courses, quizzes and on-the-job learning tasks and the person has completed them all.
