As a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) representative, the badge holder: - champions diversity, equity & inclusion at SCUK and promotes an inclusive workplace culture - supports the organisation to deliver on the actions set out in its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategy, 'Free to be Me'. - dedicates 10% of their time to supporting, promoting and encouraging DEI - acts as a role model and ally. - shares good diversity, equity & inclusion practice - raises awareness of DEI, for example, through team meetings or by highlighting relevant dates in the calendar - signposts colleagues to relevant information. - has knowledge of their local DEI KPIs and/or actions - escalates DEI concerns - prioritises DEI Lunchtime Talks and other relevant events
In order to fulfil this role it is a mandatory requirement to attend and complete DEI rep onboarding run by SCUK.
