Hāpara Highlights Level 1

Face to face or remote, Hāpara powers awesome learning. The most effective and efficient way to organize teaching and learning workflows in Google Workspace seamlessly.

General outcomes

1. Participants develop basic proficiency of Hāpara Highlights (a part of the Hāpara Instructional Suite) for use in K-12 classroom settings.

2. Participants implement Hāpara Highlights in a pedagogical context of student-centered instructional use, where students share in decision making about their learning.

Specific outcomes

Participants develop a deeper understanding of how Hāpara Highlights supports student learning by exploring how to:

• Differentiate learning using the Hāpara Highlights features
• Provide immediate and meaningful feedback and tips for redirection using Highlights communication tools
• Utilize best practices for ethical monitoring when using Hāpara Highlights
• Guide students to develop digital citizenship skills through the use of Hāpara Highlights
• Empower students to be successful using the Highlights tabs
• Improve the digital learning environment using the Highlights features and tools

Learning activities

This is a self-paced micro-credential course completed through Hāpara Workspace.

Assessment

Participants must achieve 90% or higher on the summative assessment to receive credit for this micro-credential.

Length

Hāpara Highlights Level 1 takes 3 hours to complete.
