CVEinAI is an EU-funded project that brings together institutions from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to co-design and deliver Virtual Exchange (VE) learning experiences focused on the ethical, social, and intercultural dimensions of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

UNICollaboration is a cross-disciplinary not-for-profit professional organisation for the promotion of virtual exchange and its team has extensive experience in delivering customised training on design and implementation of virtual This online Professional Development course provided an introduction to the principles of Facilitation in VE and more specifically facilitators' role in moderating small groups of students, and enabled participants to gain experience and insights into online collaboration and intercultural learning.
The aims of this 16-hours course - delivered both synchronously and asynchronously - were for participants to:
-collaborate online with peers from Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa to discuss issues related to AI;
-experience VE with European and Sub-Saharan African countries;
-develop critical perspectives on AI and its societal impacts;
-gain expertise in moderating intercultural and interdisciplinary online discussions;
-enhance skills in managing virtual learning environments;
-strengthen intercultural communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills;
-build connections for future study, research, or mobility opportunities;
