In this INGENIUM Blended Intensive Programme, staff engaged in a blended learning experience that combined online preparation, a dynamic in-person campus week at MTU focused on learning, creativity, and collaboration, and a final reflective online session. The programme centred on sustainability, global citizenship, and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
Having successfully completed the programme, participants received 3 ECTS credits and a digital badge.
The project was co-created by three INGENIUM partners — MTU (Ireland), University of Skövde (Sweden), and XAMK University (Finland) — with the aim of building practical capacity for ESD in higher education.

- Community engagement through a sustainable food practices workshop and a campus sustainability walk
- GreenComp workshop, exploring sustainability competencies and their application to learning, teaching, and educational practice
- Advancing ESD through a COP simulation
- Reflection on their role in advancing sustainability through hands-on building and actionable strategies
