Criteria

The student identifies and reflects on a family crisis, and describes this crisis in writing on 1-2 pages in English. The students meet online in assigned groups with international students. This activity develops and trains both oral and written communication skills in English and also develop collaboration skills using online communication platforms.

The students present their own crisis with which they are familiar. After all students have presented their crisis, the group will come to an agreement on which subject they will work with in a national and international perspective. This activity trains linguistic and communication skills and enhance students collaboration skills. Based on the findings in literature, articles, guidelines and other relevant information students will present, discuss and reflect on their findings and come away with a deeper understanding on how the healthcare systems and society deals with the subject. Afterwards the group will develop a joint professional presentation. Based on the process, the findings and their reflections the students create a final presentation. The local instructors assess the final presentation against the criteria listed in the work document.
